Ghanaian actress and video vixen, Akuapem Poloo has been arrested over her controversial nude photo with her seven-year-old son.
The arrest comes days after Child Rights International petitioned the Inspector-General of Police in Ghana to investigate her over the controversial birthday photo with her son which went viral on social media.
In the photo, which she posted on Tuesday, June 30, the actress went completely nude in a photoshoot with her son to celebrate him on his 7th birthday. She said she decided to go naked in front of her son who was only in his underwear because she gave birth to him naked.
According to Ghanian media, Akuapem Poloo has been picked up by operatives of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and is being sent to the headquarters of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit around the Ministries in Accra.
Kanye West has announced his plans to run for president in 2020.
The 43-year-old Billionaire rapper made the announcement on Saturday night, July 4, via his official Twitter account.
He wrote: “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION.”
The announcement was endorsed by Tesla and SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk who tweeted: “You have my full support!”
Recall that at the MTV VMAs in 2015, West first announced that he would be running for president in 2020. “As you probably could have guessed by this moment, in 2020, I have decided to run for president,” he said.
Last November, during a speech at the Fast Company Innovation Festival, he announced again he would be running in 2024. When the audience laughed at his announcement, West replied, “What y’all laughing at? We would create so many jobs! I’m not going to run, I’m going to walk.”
Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have reportedly rekindled their romance after spending the lockdown together with their daughter True.
The reality star and the NBA pro who broke up last year over his cheating scandal with Kylie Jenner’s ex BFF Jordyn Woods are ‘giving their relationship another try,’ a source told People.
The insider said the couple decided to rekindle their romance after the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star celebrated her 36th birthday last weekend. Tristan, 29, was in attendance, along with Khloé siblings Rob, Kourtney, Kim, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner as well as their mom Kris Jenner.
A second source tells PEOPLE that Khloé and Tristan “acted like were back together” at her birthday bash.
Ahead of her birthday festivities, Thompson shared a heartfelt tribute to Khloé on Instagram, posting an adorable picture of himself and the reality star with their baby girl.
‘I’m wise enough now to know, you came into my life to show me just what it means to be an incredible person. I appreciate how I am able to learn from and grow because of you,’ he wrote alongside a photo of himself with Khloe and True.
‘I thank God for the beautiful and loving woman you are to everyone, especially our daughter True. You deserve the world Koko! True and I love you mama. Happy Birthday @khloekardashian,’ he added.
After the party, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star sparked engagement rumors after she was pictured wearing a massive diamond on her ring finger.
But a source told UsWeekly on Wednesday that they two are ‘not engaged.’
Reality star and mother of one, Khloe Kardashian turned 36 on Saturday, June 27, and threw a party to celebrate her birthday.
The ‘family only’ event was attended by her famous family including her sisters, Kourtney, Kim, Kylie, Kendall, and their mom Kris Jenner. Her brother, Rob Kardashian also made a rare appearance and showed off a much more slimmed-down physique.
Khloe Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson and her BFF, Malika Haqq among others were also in attendance.
Coty has agreed to buy a 20 percent stake in Kim Kardashian West’s make-up brand KKW for $200m, just months after the American multinational beauty company closed a $600m deal with her sister, Kylie Jenner.
According to the Financial Times, the deal values Kim’s cosmetics company at $1bn, slightly lower than the $1.2 billion valuations Coty put on West’s half-sister Kylie Jenner’s business when it bought a 51 percent stake last year.
By buying only a minority stake in KKW this time, Coty does have the option to later acquire a majority stake in KKW, said one of the people familiar with the deal terms.
Simona Cattaneo, president of Coty luxury brands, said the deal would help accelerate changes at the company: “Coty is committed to becoming more focused and strategic as it transforms over the coming weeks and months.”
The announcement comes days after Kim’s husband Kanye West revealed that his fashion brand Yeezy had signed a 10-year deal with Gap.
The Simpsons will no longer use white actors to voice ethnic minority characters, the producers of the long-running animated series announced Friday, June 26.
“Moving forward, THE SIMPSONS will no longer have white actors voice non-white characters,” Fox Studios said in a statement to AFP.
The series, launched in 1989, has a number of coloured characters that are voiced by white actors.
The recurring character Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, a grocer of Indian origin, is voiced in the American version of the show by white actor Hank Azaria. The character has long been seen as problematic and conveying racist stereotypes. Last January Azaria announced that, in agreement with producers, he was abandoning the role.
The change will also affect the character of Dr Hibbert, a black character voiced by the white actor Harry Shearer who also lends his voice to many other characters on the series — from Homer Simpson’s boss Mr Burns to the chirpy neighbour Ned Flanders.
This announcement came as Mike Henry, the white actor who voices the black character of Cleveland Brown in Family Guy, another animated series produced by Fox, announced on Twitter and Instagram that he was giving up the role.
A message shared via Cynthia Morgan’s Instagram account cussed out Jude Okoye for his “evil ways.”
The last we heard from the singer and her former record label boss, it appeared they were ready to bury the hatchet. Cynthia, who had said her music career came to a halt after she signed with Jude Okoye’s Northside Entertainment label, cleared the air in an open letter and thanked Jude Okoye.
However, only weeks after thanking him, the singer, who now goes by the name Madrina, appears to be back to blasting him.
The message shared via her Instagram Stories reads: “@judeengees you will suffer for your evil ways.”
It is not clear what prompted Cynthia’s recent outburst.
