EFCC Mandates Whitsle Blowers Must Take Oath Before Filing Any Petition

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has clarified the method of reasoning behind its new strategy that potential informants must make vow before recording appeal.

The counter unite office presented the procedure that forces an informant to sign endeavor, including making a vow, before recording claim of debasement, to check unfurling abuse of the policy.

Zonal head, Kano office, Garba Dugum, uncovered this yesterday in Kano at a preparation workshop on spending following and undertaking checking for civil society organisations (CSOs) in northern Nigeria.

Dugum, who deplored arrangement of petitions documented by assumed informants, which were later observed to be false announcement, demanded that EFCC considered it relevant to start the new strategy to check unnecessary claims.
